FOODEX JAPAN 2025 – Networking, Growth, and a Surprising Win!

Foodex Japan 2025 x MySanck Taste Estonia

Foodex Japan 2025 x MySnack Taste Estonia

From March 11–14, the prestigious food and beverage trade fair Foodex Japan took place in Tokyo. In cooperation with the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS), we showcased our products alongside 10 other Estonian companies.

We participated at the Estonian joint stand together with A. Le Coq, Artisan Honey, Astelpaju Eksport, Balsnack, EBM Grupp, Junimperium Distillery, MULL Drinks, Põhjala, Revala, and Saku Brewery.

Celebrating its 50th edition this year, Foodex is considered the gateway to the Asian food industry, especially Japan. The Estonian pavilion featured both companies already established in the market and those seeking their breakthrough. For the first time, we – the MySnack team – took part in Foodex, aiming to build valuable connections, explore the local market, and introduce our healthy snacks.

MySnack Enters the Japanese Market

Our team was thrilled to attend Foodex Japan 2025 in Tokyo! We went with the goal of forming key connections, understanding the local market, and presenting our healthy snacks. The fair was a great success and offered us an excellent opportunity to meet local food retailers, entrepreneurs, and distributors. We also had the honor of being welcomed by the Estonian Ambassador and the Finnish Embassy, which added an international dimension to our experience.

Valuable Contacts and Business Opportunities

The trade fair lasted several days, and while visitor numbers were lower than in previous years, we still made valuable contacts and received promising business offers. In total, 72,151 people visited the fair over four days. Our main goal was to present our products to industry professionals and enjoy the true synergy of exhibiting alongside other fantastic Estonian companies.

Successful Sales and a Positive Experience

A special surprise on the last day of the fair – we successfully sold our remaining products through a local Amazon-like sales platform!

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who shared their insights and experiences about the Japanese market. Together, we learn and grow! 💪
